CA, it's easy. Just have 2 forms of ID and a credit card in your name. If you live outside
of driving distance, it is actually better to buy the equipment, as shipping and the daily rate will be a high percentage of the value of the equipment.

Important - Must Read: Credit Cards will be billed for the rental at the time of pickup. The
total value of the equipment will be pre-authorized (not billed) on the
card during the rental period. This value will not show up on your
credit card statement, unless there is damage or the non-return of the
equipment.
The renter is 100% liable for the care and return of the equipment.
Equipment will be inspected twice, once before the rental and after the
return in the presence of the renter. Please allow time for inspection on both visits- no exceptions. Any damage for any reason will
be billed to the credit card at this time. Non-returns will be billed
immediately for the full amount of the equipment, plus tax.
